I can certainly see why these are so popular with the teens. They can communicate with friends and make new friends so easily. I signed up for a Facebook account. It was simple and quick. Then I joined the Libraries Using Facebooks group. It was interesting, but I cannot foresee ever having the time or interest to do all this. I found my son, and my daughter in law on MySpace, so that was interesting.
I looked at the Denver Library site. It would be very appealing for teens. The music and graphics etc were interesting. I don't think we will ever have the time/exertise to do that.
I can see why the teens are hooked on this. If I was younger I might be hooked too!!
